The weekend of May 18th and 19th Asbury Theological Seminary celebrated their 95th Commencement Ceremony. During the event, our very own, Wilmer Estrada Carrasquillo, was granted his Ph.D. degree and was recognized as a Theta Phi International Honor Student. Speaking on behalf of him, Steven J. Ybarrola (dissertation mentor) said, “During his time at ATS, Wilmer demonstrated a high level of scholarship and an acute sense of spiritual maturity.”
Dr. Estrada Carrasquillo lives in Cleveland, TN with his wife Laura Pimentel, and their three daughters –Kalani Sofia, Mía Kamila, and Valeria Kamil. Presently, Dr. Estrada Carrasquillo serves as the Acting Director of the Center for Latino Studies at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary. He is a PTS alumnus (2013) and has served in our community since 2015.
