Doctor of Ministry (DMin)
The Doctor of Ministry is a distinct model for advanced development of Pentecostal leaders. It is a three-year program building on an accredited Master of Divinity degree (or equivalent) with at least three years active ministry since completing a Master of Divinity degree (or equivalent).
Students remain in their local setting and come to the Cleveland campus two weeks each year in order to complete core courses. Nine credit hours of electives in a focused area are also required. The area of focus revolves around a ministry project culminating in a written thesis about the project.
Students remain in a cohort of peers and develop close, lifelong personal relationships. This formational model creates a covenant group with each person in their ministry context. The covenant group meets regularly for project assistance and personal development feedback.
If you hunger to be the most effective Spirit-filled minister you can be, you have a call and a desire to mentor others in ministry, you should prayerfully consider the Church of God Theological Seminary Doctor of Ministry degree program.
