Our global DMin program is a field-research based (i.e. local ministry contexts) post-graduate program. Students are trained in both the practical and theoretical aspects of ministry from a Wesleyan Pentecostal perspective.

  • Global learning with students from Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East

Master of Divinity

(MDiv)

Master of Divinity (MDiv)

Designed for the advancement of pastors and academics alike, our MDiv program will help you enrich your ministry, regardless of vocation. The Master of Divinity combines a unique online curriculum with hands-on, experience-based learning, resulting in an innovative degree program for the modern learner.
  • 3 year program with the equivalent of 2 years online
  • 74 credit hours of course work for those who have already taken either Greek (6 credits) or Hebrew (6 credits), or 80 credits for those who have not. PTS provides summer Greek courses (6 credits) to encourage new students to complete the above language requirement
  • Emphasis in the areas of Pentecostal scholarship, formation, Pentecostal worship, holy witness, and covenant community
  • Up to 53 credit hours potentially accepted by way of transfer. (Note: Please see the Admissions Office for more information on transfer articulations, as they will vary).

Designed for individuals who want to pursue a vocation in counseling and/or related areas, including ministry in local churches from a faith-based worldview, our MAC program provides the necessary training to advance your call to counseling.
  • 48 credit hour program, comprised of 18 credit hours of Bible and theology courses, and 30 credit hours of counseling courses

Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

(MACMHC)

Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MACMHC)

Created as a pathway to the eventual certification and/or licensure of its students, our MACMHC program trains students in mental health counseling from a Christian and Pentecostal worldview. Our program prepares students to work with persons in a variety of settings, from the church to mental health settings.*
  • 78 credit hours, comprised of 60 credit hours of counseling courses and 18 credit hours of Bible and theology courses
  • Electives in individual, couples and family counseling, addiction counseling, and child and adolescent counseling
  • Available fully online
*MACMHC satisfies the academic requirements for National Certified Counselors with the National Board of Certified Counselors and for Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselors in all 50 states in the United States. Internationally, mental health counseling recognition requirements may vary from United States criteria. Besides academic requirements, other state requirements include postmasters degree supervised experience, examinations etc. Students should inquire about licensure requirements with the board governing counseling licensure in their respective state.
