FIRE SAFETY REPORT 2016

 The Pentecostal Theological Seminary is committed to a safe
environment for all who attend our campus.

The main campus participates in two mandatory supervised
drills each year.  The faculty and
staff attend a yearly meeting on evacuation procedures and fire safety
education.

Listed below are the changes
that have been made to meet local fire code standards.
We are pleased to report that WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY FIRES on our campus
this physical year.

  1. R. Hollis Gause Building  – No improvements needed.

  2. Curtsinger Building   – No improvements needed.

  3. Hamilton court    – New hardwired alarms installed

All structures have passed city Fire Marshal’s Inspection
conducted annually

POLICIES REGARDING FIRE SAFETY ON CAMPUS

  1. The seminary is a nonsmoking campus, this includes student housing.
  1. Residents in student housing shall use only UL protected appliances.

    Any modified plug for an appliance must be approved by the Director

    of Facilities.

  1. Evacuation procedures

    are located at selected entrances in the administrative buildings.

  1. The seminary prohibits

    the burning of candles or any open flames on campus as well as student

    housing.

Campus Security Report 2016

The Pentecostal Theological Seminary is committed to a safe
environment for all who attend our campus.

We report the crimes that happen on campus annually to the
Tennessee Bureau of investigation as well as to the Department of Education. The
information is compiled nationally by the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

As of Jan, 1 2016 thru OCT, 1 2016 there have been two
crimes committed on campus that required police intervention. #1. 1-24-16 Theft
over $1,000.00 Disposition of case: solved. Recovery of property and 2 arrests
made.  #2. 8-7-16 Theft from motor
vehicle. Disposition of case: currently under investigation.

REPORTING CRIMES

Should a student encounter a crime on campus (EMERGENCY)
that requires police intervention, they should dial 911. As soon as time allows,
the student should call either the Director of Facilities (security chief), or
the receptionist desk to report the crime.&

If a student has a non-emergency need but still requires
police intervention, they should call the Cleveland Police Department @ (423)
476-7511.  Then follow the same
procedure for contacting the campus security.

POLICIES-possession, use, and sale of alcoholic beverages, drugs, etc

Policies regarding these issues are located on page 117 of
the seminary catalog under Ethical Commitment.

CAMPUS SECURITY REPORT

The campus security report is distributed each year (OCT, 1) by email to the students.  This
report is also distributed to the facility and staff by email.&

Each month, the Incident Report book is updated to the
crimes that are committed on campus. 
Also a copy of the report filed with the Department of Education is in this
book.  This book is kept at the
receptionist desk in the R. Hollis Gause administrative building.
